Delivery & Returns

Delivery

  • Orders are despatched on a next working day service for delivery by close of business.  This is for in stock products despatched as parcel consignments. We DO NOT guarantee next day delivery however, as once despatched delays can occur during transit which are unfortunately out of our control. 
  • Working days are Monday to Friday and exclude bank holidays
  • Orders must, be received before 3pm to enable despatch that evening for delivery the following working day.
  • Orders received between Friday 3pm - Monday 3pm are despatched for delivery on Tuesday

Deliveries are based on a next working day service. We use a number of national parcel networks. Some orders that require despatch on a pallet due to overall volume will be delivered via a separate recognised pallet network and can take between 24-48 hours for delivery.

Delivery Surcharges & Postcode Exceptions

Deliveries to the following Scottish Highland postcodes will incur an additional delivery surcharge and carry a 2-3 day service, not a next working day delivery.

FK17-21, All IV, KW1-14, PA21-40, PH19-26, PH30-41, & PH49-50

We service the following delivery areas on an individual order basis due to their geographical locations, Scottish Isles, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Scilly Isles, Channel Islands, Northern Ireland & Republic of Ireland. Please contact our team for a delivery quotation.

All orders are reviewed prior to processing and despatch.  In some rare instances due to certain product and delivery combinations, our team may contact you to discuss and agree an additional delivery charge or you may choose to cancel the order. 

Ordering process

Orders should be placed via The Packaging Depot Website. An order confirmation will be sent automatically to your email address once payment has been processed. If you need to make any amendments to your order, please contact our team as soon as possible so this can be done prior to despatch.

Receiving your Delivery

Once your order is despatched an email will be forwarded with tracking information. It is preferred that customers sign to confirm receipt of the delivery. However, our carriers will leave goods unsigned if appropriate or when instructed to do so.

Our carriers will not accept liability for in-transit damage or missing items unless notified to the carrier at the time you receive delivery. Therefore, please check the number of packages that you are receiving, do not sign for any that are missing and identify if the outer packaging or contents have been damaged.

Delivery Problems

Almost all deliveries arrive on time, complete and without damage. However, if your order is damaged or incomplete, so that we can pursue it, you MUST state this to the carrier when receiving delivery so that it is acknowledged by them and advise The Packaging Depot within 24 hours by email sales@thepackagingdepot.co.uk or phone, 01924 869010. If reporting damages to products please include pictures in your email as this will form part of our claim with the carrier. We investigate all reported delivery problems the same or next day, aiming to resolve the issue to your satisfaction as quickly as possible.

Returning Goods

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of delivery for any non-fault return. You must take care of the goods whilst in your possession and return them in an unused condition in their original packaging and at your own cost for a full refund. If you require The Packaging Depot to arrange collection on your behalf, you will be charged for the cost and notified at the time.
